Colour of the year- Marsala

Named colour of the year for 2015, Marsala combines a hue of wine and chocolate to create a romantic and strong colour, set to be seen across the runways and in our wardrobes this year. I LOVE IT!

This is such a versatile colour. It works perfectly as the key colour of an outfit and can be complemented by warm tones, like gold and ochre, or cool tones, like teal or aqua. Pantone chose Marsala as colour of the year for its versatility, saying:

Unlike last year’s colour of the year (Radiant Orchid), this year’s can be worn well in clothing, footwear, accessories and in your makeup choices. Just picture the dramatic and well defined lips and nails you will be showing off this year!
